Terms of Use
Last updated 2026-04-02
1. User obligations
You agree to use FiberForge Academy websites, community tools, and classroom spaces responsibly. That means honoring confidentiality of fellow participants, not recording private discussions when facilitators prohibit it, and representing your employer accurately when you share traces or logs.
You must not attempt to disrupt labs, introduce malware, scrape member directories for unsolicited outreach, or misrepresent your skill level in ways that place cohorts at risk. Instructors may remove participants who endanger shared equipment or repeatedly ignore safety instructions without issuing a refund beyond what the Cancellation Policy describes.
When you upload materials to shared drives, you warrant that you have rights to share them and that they do not contain regulated personal data about individuals who have not consented to classroom exposure.
2. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would send disputes elsewhere.
Exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from classroom services delivered in Seoul shall rest with the courts of Seoul, unless mandatory consumer protection rules grant you a non-waivable right to sue in your home jurisdiction.
If a translated copy conflicts with the English master, the English version controls for international participants unless local law forbids that outcome.
3. Termination and suspension
We may suspend access for investigation when a credible code-of-conduct report arrives or when payment disputes threaten continued delivery. Suspension is not a public accusation; we will describe the factual basis privately where law allows.
You may terminate your participation in subscription-style offerings through the account portal or by emailing the address at the bottom of this page. Termination does not erase obligations for fees already earned for completed sessions.
Upon termination, licenses to use downloadable workbooks revert unless a separate license states otherwise. You should export your notes promptly because community access may close within fourteen days.
4. Intellectual property
Curriculum text, lab topology diagrams, rubrics, and recorded explanations remain FiberForge property. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use those materials for internal learning at the organization that paid tuition.
You may not resell lab packs, repost full workbooks publicly, or use our trademarks in a way that suggests endorsement of your consulting engagements without a written trademark license.
Feedback you provide may be incorporated into future curriculum without royalty, though we will not attribute sensitive stories to you by name without permission.
5. Acceptance of terms
By browsing this site, creating an account, or signing an enrollment agreement, you acknowledge that you have read these terms and agree to the dispute resolution, intellectual property, and acceptable-use sections.
If you enroll on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to commercial obligations such as payment schedules and confidentiality expectations.
Parents or guardians must accept terms for participants under the age of majority in their jurisdiction; we do not market to children and may close accounts that appear to belong to minors without parental authorization.
6. Service description
FiberForge Academy delivers instructor-led storage networking programs, blended certification preparation, and community moderation services described on individual program pages. We update syllabi as enterprise markets shift and will note material changes on those pages with a revised effective date.
Community features depend on third-party chat providers; outages there do not automatically trigger refunds unless classroom delivery itself is impossible for more than twenty-four consecutive hours during a paid block.
Prices listed in KRW are informational for budgeting. Final amounts appear on invoices or enrollment confirmations and may include applicable taxes depending on your entity type.
7. Liability limits
To the fullest extent permitted under Korean law, FiberForge is not liable for indirect damages such as lost revenue, goodwill, or data when those losses arise from how you apply classroom lessons inside production systems you control.
Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a single enrollment will not exceed the tuition actually paid for that enrollment, except where willful misconduct is proven.
You remain solely responsible for backups, rollback plans, and stakeholder sign-off before implementing changes in regulated environments.
